FIGHTING (not necessarily valiantly…) Big Cig resists arrest for ‘crimes against health’ at Devonport Naval Base.
Cig – aka WO ‘Fruity’ Paskins (Paskins sounds like ‘pastilles’ apparently…) from the Flag Officer Sea Training organisation – was handcuffed then bundled into the back of a van by RN police at HMS Drake as the West Country establishment joined in National No Smoking Day.
Different Big Cigs were maltreated across RN bases yesterday – the 28th annual day dedicated to quitting – in an effort to stamp out the dreaded weed.
