VIRGINIA (BNS): US Navy has awarded a contract to CSC for providing engineering and programme support for the DDG 1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyer Programme Office (PMS 500).The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total five-year value to $110 million.
The Navy awarded the task order under the Naval Sea Systems Command SEAPORT-Enhanced contract vehicle, which CSC won in 2004.
